unable to create hibernate connection pool in openshift

After deploying my Spring+Hiberntae application on openshift it loaded properly. When it does any hibernate operation it gives following error and 504 Gateway Time-out

WARN : org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.spi.SqlExceptionHelper - SQL Error: 0, SQLState : null ERROR: org.hibernate.engine.jdbc.spi.SqlExceptionHelper - Cannot create Poolable ConnectionFactory (Communications link failure The last packet sent successfully to the server was 0 milliseconds ago. The driv er has not received any packets from the server.)

Can anyone suggest the answer
