How to do connection pooling for Java Rest webservices client

We have a java standalone process which consume rest web service for multiple propose. This process runs in Thread environment to do multiple validations for multiple entries say 10000 at a time. Now we need to use the web pooling for web service client. We are using Spring framework in server layer. What is the best way to do ?
