Best practice to share data between the different processes

I'm looking to share data (a string) between Spring MVC controller and an AspectsJ class during the processing of REST stateless query , i'm looking for the best choice knowing that this data should be separated for each query (if the two queries happens simultanously), what are the pros and cons of using httpsession , or use an attribute of an spring service (bean) , or any other trick.
